Coincidences thrive as sign posts along life’s highway and equally compelling is the Cosmic Radio -- where the song sings to the same synchronicity as you are living.   Pure Coincidence & the Cosmic Radio is just that; autobiographical vignettes of coincidences between a wee lass and her Irishman.  These coincidences flung wide an irresistable doorway and subsuquent path to higher consciousness.  It is a story about the choice to love unconditionally and reaching for new levels of joy.

Vanessa Renee' Peterson

Vanessa happily joined in my enthusiasm for a digital music storybook and true to her word been patient and supportive in it's becoming.   The first time I heard her perform, Ann and I were out celebrating my birthday at Ocean Song on Isle of Palm having a very fun filled evening laughing like there was no tomorrow when not soaking up the music.  Vanessa came off stage and after introductions all around we swapped stories at our table until other admirers stole her away from us.  Another friend gifted us all her CD in honor of the occasion and we all immediately became a member of her Street Team.  During future meetups Vanessa learned more detail to my creative writing and after experiencing her CD I asked for permission to embed her song inside my book.  One specific song had become integral with life's recent times spent beside my Anam Cara.  

I was so grateful for her willingness and enthusiasm and we easily arranged that in exchange for embedding her song in my book, each book sale would include a royalty payment.  We easily agreed upon a collaborative approach to the publication:  the author gains revenue from their writing and the musician gain revenue for their song contribution.  Vaneesa will represent one of the first singer/songwriters to benefit from the all new interactive style book.

It was time for me to hire an illustrator to create my book cover and I knew just what I wanted.  A fabulous mockup was sketched for me by a fabuous artist out of California but the price was too steep for my budget.  I pondered this dilemna for some weeks when it occured to me that a friend of mine not only lived in Dublin but was what he calls an "amateur" photographer.   Nothing about his craft appeared "amateur" in my summation, and I approached him with a wee project; to travel to the west country in search of specifics places in exchange for becoming my book cover.   Again I found myself overwelmed with gratitude when he welcomed the challenge and jumped at the chance.  

Off he went on an excursion west ... and upon his return I was flabbergasted at his marvelous photo's capturing a place I've only yet to dream about.  I had only provided him a few words to guide him -- yet as in perfect harmony his art exceeded my expectations by unknowingly capturing subject matter and feelings tied to the story.  It was kismet once again, as in all things associated with Pure Coincidence & the Cosmic Radio.
